Bio

Originally from the tiny town of Lancaster, WI, Brandi has always had a passion for music and dance. As one of 6 children in a family of musicians, Brandi found herself standing out in the family as the “performer.” Throughout elementary and middle school, Brandi auditioned for the KIDS from Wisconsin group, acting as the state’s official musical ambassadors. As a singer/dancer for this group, she studied under various choreographers and was first introduced to ballroom dance.

After high school, Brandi went on to study at Lawrence University in Appleton, WI where she received her BA degree in Bio-Chemistry, Pre-Dentistry. While attending Lawrence, she furthered her dance knowledge by participating in the Melée dance troupe, being a dancer in the opera, “Hansel and Gretel,” and by working as a singer/dancer in the Fab 50’s show at the Chula Vista Resort.

Shortly after school, Brandi began her career with the Fred Astaire Dance Studios as an instructor. Her favorite dances are the Rumba and the West Coast Swing. She is very versatile and enjoys bringing out the technical aspects as well as fun. With her excitement, fun-loving, upbeat personality, Brandi loves inspiring her students to bring out their inner “sassiness!”
